TRS to wage war against Centre on issue of paddy procurement : CM

Hyderabad, Nov 18 (UNI) Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on Thursday said "the TRS party has decided to wage a war against the Centre on the issue of paddy procurement by the latter and that it was not the end but the beginning of the struggle for farmers' cause.''
Speaking after participating in the massive Maha Dharna at Dharna Chowk near Indira Park in the city staged by the ruling TRS party, he said that along with the farmers in the Northern parts of the country "we will agitate for the farmers' cause".
Thousands, including Ministers, legislators and the ruling TRS leaders and cadre participated in the Maha dharna intended to bring pressure on the Centre to buy paddy from farmers and to clarify its stand on the issue.
