AP: BJP stage dharna against lawlessness in Bengal

Kakinada, Mar 2 (UNI) BJP workers staged dharna at the dharna chowk here on Saturday under the aegis of the BJP district unit, protesting against the lawlessness in West Bengal and the failure of the Trinamool Congress government in maintaining law and order.
They raised slogans demanding the resignation of the Trinamul Congress government for the total failure of the law and order machinery in Sandesh Kali area in Parganas district, where the ruling party leader Shaik Shajahan and his supporters are ruling roost, indulging in atrocities against women, murders, looting, and usurping of landed properties. Registering as many as over 1200 cases against Shajahan and the police playing the role of silent spectators and arresting him only after the Apex Court issuing the order speaks volumes about the present situation, they said.
BJP state vice president Vetukuri Suryanarayanaraju, state intellectual wing convenor Mutha Naveen Krishna, Yenimireddi Malakondaiah, Duvvuri Subrahmanyam, Gatti Satyanarayana, and Pydah Bhavana Prasad Datla Suryanarayanaraju and Rambhala Venkateswerarao, Pydah Venkatanarayana, and Chitneedi Srinivas addressed the protesters and demanded the immediate resignation of the Trinamool Congress government.
