CM announces extension of mid-day meal scheme to students in govt junior, degree colleges

Hyderabad, Jul 17 (UNI) Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Friday announced extension of the mid-day meal scheme to students of all government junior and degree colleges in the state.
The decision was taken to check dropout rate among the students who remain absent after the lunch break and nutritious food be served under the scheme, according to informed sources.
The Chief Minister also sanctioned construction of a new college building of Jadcherla Junior college.
