TTD trust board decides to create 479 nurse posts in SVIMS hospital

Tirumala, Mar 11 (UNI) Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Trust Board, the highest decision-making body of the world-famous Tirumala temple, on Monday decided to create 479 nurse posts to provide better medical services in view of the increasing number of patients in SVIMS Hospital, run by the TTD in Tirupati.
Briefing the key decisions of the board meeting to the media, TTD Chairman B. Karunakar Reddy, along with Executive Officer A.V. Dharma Reddy, said that in the past TTD, most of the recruitment of contract or outsourcing employees was done following their requirements in the respective areas and not through any notification or rule of reservation (RVR).
To regularise the services of such employees as per G.O. No. 114, the TTD board has decided to send a report on the same, relaxing some of the rules requested by the state government, he said.
