CM directs officials to ensure salaries of contract workers be paid on time through green channel

Vijayawada, Jul 13 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy has directed the officials concerned to ensure that the contract workers, employed in various departments should get their salaries on time through the green channel.
During a review meeting held here on Monday, the Chief Minister said that all the contract workers employed in various departments, societies, universities should get their salaries on time like any other government employee.
“The salaries of contract workers should be paid through the green channel and the amount should be credited to their bank accounts like regular employees”, the Chief Minister told the officials.
