Rs 2.51 lakh Cr set as target for loan disbursement for FY 2020-21 in AP

Vijayawada, Oct 23 (UNI) A total lay out of Rs.2,51,600 crore was set as target for the disbursement of loans in Andhra Pradesh, of which Rs 1,28,660 crore to be disbursed in the agriculture sector.
The 212th State Level Bankers Committee (SLBC) meeting was held here on Friday, which Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, ministers and bank officials attended.
The officials said that the loan target has increased by 9.78 per cent for 2020-21 at Rs 2, 51, 600 crore when compared to previous year. Of the total loan targets, the government aims to lend Rs 1,28,660 crore to the agriculture sector that is an increase of 11.9 percent over the previous year and to lend Rs 39,600 crore to micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) which is 10 per cent more than last year.
