Vijayawada, Sep 29 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy has claimed that the spread of Covid-19 infection is declining with the positivity rate coming down to 8.3 per cent from 12 per cent in the last couple of weeks.
During the video conference with district Collectors and Superintendents of police here on Tuesday, the Chief Minister said that the number of tests had increased while the number of cases had decreased.
Directing authorities to be vigilant and take steps to provide information related to the availability of beds, test results, and hospitals, he instructed the officials to ensure that the helpline is working without any interruption and asked the district collectors to monitor the calls handled by the helpline and conduct mock calls.
