Telangana: Three officials including Dy Manager suspended in Singareni mine collapse incident

Hyderabad, Nov 12 (UNIU) Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) on Friday placed three officials including Deputy General Manager and two supervisors under suspension holding them responsible for the roof collapse incident in underground mine of SCCL’s SRP 3 and 3A incline underground mine in Srirampur in Mancherial district of Telangana two-days back.
A charge-memo was also issued to the mine manager in connection with the mine collapse incident in which four workers lost their lives, the mining company said in a statement here.
The management has made it clear that no one will be spared if there is any laxity while discharging their duty.
