Three killed in road accident

Thrissur, Dec 31 (UNI) Three persons were killed and two seriously injured after a truck laden lorry lost control and rammed into five vehicles at Kuthiran in National Highway (NH 544) on Thursday.
According to police, the accident took place in the morning when the lorry proceeding to Ernakulam from Tamilnadu lost control and rammed into two cars first and then hit two motorbikes and one mini lorry.
Two motorbike passengers and one person who was travelling in a car died on the spot. Other two passengers of the car sustained serious injuries and were shifted to a nearby hospital.
