AP: Newly married couple among 5 killed in road accident

Nandyala, (AP) Mar 6 (UNI) In a tragic road accident, five of a family, including newly married couple, were killed when the car in which they were travelling rammed a lorry at Nallagatla village in Allagadda mandal in the district in the wee hours on Wednesday.
Allagadda rural Circle Inspector Hanumantha Naik said that five members of a family including the newly married couple and the parents of the groom, went to the hill shrine Tirumala from Hyderabad. When they were going back to Hyderabad, their car rammed a lorry at the rear end.
Ravindra, his wife Lakshmi, his son Balakiran, daughter-in-law Kavya and another son Uday Kiran were killed in the accident.
The marriage of Balakiran and Kavya was held on February 29 and reception was held a couple of days ago in Shamirpet in Hyderabad. All the deceased belonged to Hyderabad city.
The driver of the car could not notice the lorry and rammed it at the rear end. As the car was going at high speed all the deceased were killed instantaneously. Drowsiness and poor visibility due to thick fog led to the accident. The police registered a case and shifted the bodies to the GGH in Allagadda for postmortem.
