JK :Rains lash plains; light snowfall on higher reaches of Kashmir

Srinagar, Apr 26 (UNI) Kashmir plains experienced rains while some higher reaches received a fresh light snowfall bringing down the day temperature and disrupting normal life on Friday.
Srinagar and some other weather stations of Kashmir valley including Pahalgam and Gulmarg received light rainfall on Friday plummeting the day temperature by a few degrees forcing people and tourists to wear warm clothes.
Some higher reaches including Tulail Valley, Sinthan Top, Peer Ki Gali, Zojila Pass, and Razdan Top received a fresh light snowfall on Friday, an independent forecaster, Kashmir Weather, said.
