Srinagar, Aug 31 (UNI) One-way traffic on the 270-km-long Srinagar-Jammu national highway, the only all weather road connecting Kashmir valley with the rest of the country, resumed Monday afternoon after remaining suspended since early this morning due to fresh landslides and shooting stone, triggered by overnight rain.
Vehicles, mostly trucks loaded with essentials and oil tankers, which had left Jammu Monday were allowed to move towards Kashmir valley, a traffic police official told UNI this afternoon.
He said traffic on the Srinagar-Jammu national highway on Monday was suspended due to fresh landslides and shooting stones at Penthyal and other places in Ramban Monday morning.
