UP: Girl mauled to death by pack of stray dogs in Deoria

Deoria, April 13 (UNI) A four-year-old unidentified girl was mauled to death by a pack of stray dogs at Sadar Kotwali area in Deoria district of Uttar Pradesh, a police officer said here today.
Circle Officer (City) Sanjay Kumar Reddy said that the body of the girl was found near roadside at Amethi trisection this morning. "It is being said that the girl was mauled to death by a pack of stray dogs," he said.
Reddy said that whether the girl was attacked by the dogs on Friday night or Saturday morning will become clear only after postmortem examination. "Efforts are being made to ascertain the identity of the girl," he said.
