Basti, Aug 12 (UNI) At least five people were killed and one person was injured in a road accident on National Highway 28 late Wednesday night.
The accident occured under city police station area near Gotwa market when a car carrying 7 people dashed against a stationary truck, police sources here on Thursday said.
In a miracle, an infant girl child was rescued unhurt.
The family was going to Jharkhand from Lucknow.
One injured person has been admitted to the hospital.
The five bodies were recovered by cutting the doors of the car.
The deceased were identified as Abdul Aziz, his wife Nargis, daughters Anam, Sizra and Tuba.
The driver Abhishek was critically injured but Abdul Aziz's youngest five year daughter escaped unhurt.
