Footfall of tourists increased after abrogation of Article 370, Patel

Srinagar, Apr 12 (UNI) Asserting that Union Government is making all efforts to tap the tourism potential of Jammu and Kashmir, Union Minister of State for Tourism and Culture, Prahlad Singh Patel on Monday said after abrogation of Article 370 and other subsequent measures taken with respect to the tourism sector the number of tourists visiting here has increased and this has made us think of giving a makeover to the already existing tourism places here.
The Union Minister made these comments while addressing the tourism conference titled, ‘'Tapping the Potential of Kashmir: Another day in Paradise', at S-K International Convention Centre (SKICC) on the bank of Dal Lake.
He said that to improve the flow of tourists into Jammu and Kashmir, this conference has been organised wherein all the stakeholders have been invited to meet, discuss and give suggestions to create better tourism infrastructure in entire J&K.

It’s a new initiative rolled out by the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) under the supervision of Deputy Inspector General (DIG) North Srinagar, Sudhir Kumar aimed at blending security with empathy.
