Tiffin IEDs recovered from terrorist hideout, defused in J&K’s Poonch

Jammu, Apr 17 (UNI) Security forces on Wednesday defused three Tiffin Improvised Explosive Devices (IEds), recovered from a terrorist hideout in Mendhar sub-division of Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Police sources said that a search operation was launched this morning by the security forces in the Gursai area.
A terrorist militant hideout was busted and two tiffin IEDs each weighing 3 kgs electric wire, one bundle, batteries, medicine and clothes were recovered.
“The IEDs have been defused in a controlled manner,” they said, adding that searches are being carried out in the region.
