Jimpa hands over job letters to 43 JEs of water resources dept

Chandigarh, May 20 (UNI) Punjab Water Resources and Revenue, Rehabilitation and Disaster Management Minister Bram Shanker Jimpa on Friday handed over appointment letters to 43 Junior Engineers (JEs) here.
Mann-led Punjab Government is fully committed to provide employment opportunities to the youth of the state, said the Minister while adding that it was the duty of the state government to provide jobs to youngsters. These JEs have been recruited by PPSC on purely merit basis and in a transparent manner, he added.
Congratulating the newly-appointed Junior Engineers, he implored them to perform their duties diligently as the government has fulfilled its responsibility by providing jobs to them and now it's their duty to serve the people without any bias.
