Amroha, Oct 22 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has changed the politics of the country and as opposed to the politics of casteism and dynastic from before, now the politics of village-farmers and common people is happening.
Addressing an election rally in the Rajhoha village in the Nauganwa Sadat Assembly area in Amroha on Thursday, Mr Yogi said that Amroha is a holy land and the people here have blessings of Maa Ganga. After the formation of BJP government in the state, we recognized the legendary Tigridham fair of historical importance as a state fair.
Mr Adityanath averred that Chaudhary Charan Singh was a great farmer leader of the country. People did politics in his name. The Hasanpur sugar mill was expanded by the BJP government. He said that the late Chetan Chauhan had many dreams for the development of Amroha, now the BJP government will fulfill his dreams.
The UP CM said that before 2017, complaints were being received from Amroha that the women are not safe here. Now, the criminals are missing and police is nabbing the goons. People wouldn't have forgotten the Muzaffarnagar and Kairana riots. Now, everybody is living in peace.
Earlier, goons used to claim the possession of the poor people's lands but now, government bulldozers are running on mafia property, the CM said.
Earlier, Mr Adityanath addressed an election rally in support of BJP candidate Usha Sirohi in the Assembly by-elections on the Bulandshahr Sadar seat in the Numaish ground. He said that said it is now time to show casteist politics a mirror and voters would now have to cast votes on the issue of development and nationalism so that all-round development of the state can be done.
