Cong candidate for violation of MCC

Agra (UP), Apr 6 (UNI) A case of violation of the model code of conduct (MCC) has been lodged against Congress candidate from Fatehpur Sikri seat Ramnath Sikwar at Pinahat police station, police sources said here.
Police sources said that it has been alleged that Sikwar took out a rally without taking permission and showered petals from the government machine. "The case was lodged by a member of the flying squad on Friday on the information of assistant commissioner state tax Satish Kumar," they said.
Police sources said that it has been alleged that flowers were showered during the rally of the Congress candidate from the government machine in Puduapur. "Besides, it has been alleged that campaigning was done without taking permission and a roadshow was also taken out," they said.
