BSP, SP and Cong leaders join BJP

Lucknow, April 16 (UNI) Several leaders of Samajwadi Party (SP), Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and Congress on Tuesday joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ahead of the polling for the first phase of Lok Sabha polls in Uttar Pradesh.
Among those who took membership in the presence of Deputy Chief Minister Brijesh Pathak at the party's state headquarters, included former District Panchayat President of Sudha Verma, zonal co-ordinator of Vijay Kumar, zonal co-ordinator of and district panchayat member Kamlesh Sahu, all from BSP, former SP state general secretary Daya Shankar Singh Yadav, former state secretary Manoj Singh Patel and former Congress state secretary Deepak Singh.
Welcoming all the leaders, the Deputy CM said that the poor welfare schemes under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi have strengthened the faith of the people in the BJP. "There is Modi ji's guarantee for the economic and social prosperity of youth, women, poor and farmers In the manifesto of BJP. Everyone is respected and security is guaranteed in the BJP government," he said.
