BJP will get defeated in all 80 LS seats in UP: Akhilesh

Lucknow, Mar 20 (UNI) Samajwadi Party (SP) president Akhilesh Yadav said on Wednesday that the INDI alliance will defeat the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in all 80 Lok Sabha seats in Uttar Pradesh and 400 seats in the entire country.
Talking to the reporters at SP's state headquarters, Akhilesh said, "The BJP has betrayed all sections of society during its 10 years of government. A decisive battle to save the Constitution, democracy, and reservation is taking place in UP. The India Alliance will defeat the BJP on all 80 seats in UP and 400 seats in the entire country."
He said that inflation and unemployment have reached their peak. "BJP made false promises to the farmers and ruined the future of the youth. Farmers' income did not double. Farming has become expensive. Smart cities have not been built, and electricity is expensive. During the 10 years of the BJP government in the country, more than one lakh farmers committed suicide due to debt and financial crises," he claimed.
The SP chief said that the BJP government did not provide jobs to the youth; instead, it kept making false promises to them. "BJP deliberately leaks the paper for the competitive examination. Every exam paper gets leaked in UP. There was massive rigging in competitive examinations. BJP played with the lives of students who worked hard day and night with their families's hard-earned money," he said.
He said that the BJP did not give reservations to backward classes, Dalits, and other reserved category students as per the rules. "BJP is anti-farmers, youth, and the poor. The BJP government has made everything from food items to diesel, petrol, cooking gas, and electricity expensive. It destroyed the poor and middle-class people of the country," he said.
Akhilesh said that the law and order system of the state has collapsed. "The claim of zero tolerance for law and order has become zero. There is no fear of the law among criminals. There was an encounter in Jaunpur and a custodial death in Pratapgarh. The BJP government has completely failed to handle law and order," he said.
