SP govt will bring UP on the path of development from 2022: Akhilesh Yadav

Hardoi, Nov 27(UNI) Samajwadi Party National President and former state Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav said on Saturday that Uttar Pradesh has lagged behind under the BJP rule and SP will once again bring the state in the path of development from 2022.
"Everyone's work has been taken away. The farmers have not got the price for paddy and youth do not have jobs. The BJP is following the British policy of divide and rule and they are doing it by intimidation people," he alleged.

Mr Yadav said people want change and they will wipe out the BJP in the 2022 elections.

Mr Yadav said that the slogan of 'Khela Hobe' in West Bengal will be 'Khedera Hobe' for the BJP in the 2022 elections in UP.

He appealed to the people to vote against the BJP and said that the people will witness a historic defeat of the ruling party.

Mr Yadav was addressing a mega rally of Bhagadari Sankalp Morcha organized at Sagargarhi Jhawar Maidan in Sandila on the 15th foundation day celebrations of Maharaja Salhiya Singh Arkavanshi here on Saturday.

The rally was presided over by Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party president Om Prakash Rajbhar.

Mr Rajbhar appealed to the public to take a resolution to make Akhilesh Yadav the next Chief Minister of UP. He assured that all sections of the society would be given help if the Samajwadi Party formed the government.

Akhilesh Yadav said that the income of the farmer has not doubled as promised by the BJP, instead they are losing their lives while selling paddy.

Terming the Lakhimpur incident as being similar to the Jallianwala Bagh massacre, he said no action against the Union minister has been taken so far by the centre which shows the real face of the BJP.

Raking up the killing of 4 members of a Dalit family recently in UP, the SP president said the family has been running for justice from pillar to post, but they are not getting it from the government.

Mr Yadav said that BJP is taking the credit of the works done by the SP government.

He said that if the Samajwadi government is formed in the state then people will get, free of cost treatment for serious diseases.
