SAD-BSP to set up ministry for development of Kandi area, if voted to power: Sukhbir

Hoshiarpur, Oct 12 (UNI) Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) President Sukhbir Singh Badal said on Tuesday that the SAD-BSP alliance if voted to power, would set up a separate ministry dedicated to the all-round development of Kandi area.
It would ensure focused development of the sub mountainous region by ensuring optimum water and irrigation facilities, Mr Badal said while addressing a workers meetings at Hoshiarpur, Tanda, Bullowal and Dasuya towns on Tuesday.
He said that all the major development works in Punjab were done by SAD (B) during its regimes. Congress allegedly did nothing in the last four-and-a-half years of its rule.
