Shameful that CM backstabbed farmers again by supporting framing of agri ordinances : SAD

Chandigarh, Sep 20 (UNI) The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) on Sunday said it was shameful that chief minister Capt Amarinder Singh was trying to befool farmers yet again after backstabbing them and asked him to first tell why he had supported the framing of the agricultural ordinances before asking any questions from the opposition.
In a statement here, senior leader and party Kisan Wing President Sikandar Singh Maluka said it was condemnable that a master liar who had taken a false oath in the name of Gutka Sahib and Sri Guru Gobind Singh ji was talking about truth and lies. “No one is obliged to answer any question coming from a habitual liar who has always deceived the farming community and played with its emotions for petty political gains”.
Stating that the CM should first come clean on his lies which had been exposed, Mr Maluka said “is it not a fact that you were a member of the high powered committee which discussed the framing of the ordinances which were taken up as Bills in parliament? Isn’t it a fact that your government sent a six page note to the centre concurring with the provisions of the ordinances? Your government also amended the State APMC Act in August 2017 immediately on coming to power to include the very provisions which were later included in the central ordinances”.
