Mann accuses Badal of irregularities, SAD dares CM to start a case

Chandigarh, Feb 29 (UNI) The Shiromani Akali Dal on Thursday dared Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann to register a case to substantiate his allegations that SAD President Sukhbir Singh Badal was involved in any irregularities relating to a hotel in Mohali district.
SAD Chief Spokesman Arshdeep Singh Kler accused Mann of "uttering malicious lies" and demanded an apology, failing which the chief minister should be ready to face another defamation suit.
Kler's remarks followed Mann's accusations against Badal of playing a role in amending the state government's eco-tourism policy to facilitate the construction of the hotel on forest land owned by the influential family.
