Chandigarh, Dec (UNI) In view of upcoming state assembly polls, Punjab BJP chief Ashwani Sharma has appointed in-charges in all 13 Lok Sabha constituencies of the state to run the organization's election work smoothly.
Giving this information on Sunday, State BJP General Secretary Dr Subhash Sharma said Avinash Rai Khanna has been appointed in charge of Amritsar Lok Sabha constituency, Rajinder Mohan Singh Chhina of Ludhiana, Union Minister Som Prakash of Hoshiarpur, Prof Rajinder Bhandari of Gurdaspur, Narendra Parmar of Jalandhar, Mohan Lal Garg of Ferozepur, DP Chandan of Faridkot, Kewal Kumar of Khadoor Sahib, Shivbir Singh Rajan of Fatehgarh Sahib, Bikramjit Singh Cheema of Sangrur, Sanjeev Bhardwaj of Patiala, Naresh Sharma of Sri Anandpur Sahib and Dr Subhash Verma has been appointed in charge of Bathinda Lok Sabha constituency.
Dr Sharma said all these senior BJP leaders are well acquainted with the work and ideology of the organization, therefore, this responsibility has been entrusted to them by Punjab BJP president Ashwani Sharma.
