Chandigarh, April 9 (UNI) The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) got a boost ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, as a number of leaders of Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday joined Punjab's ruling party.
Among those who jumped ship from SAD are its Moga district (Urban) President Prem Chand, Sanjeev Kumar Narula (Gen Sec Punjab) and Jalor Singh Gill (Sen. Vice President, Moga district).
BJP's Halka In-charge Baghapurana and State Executive Member Gurminderjit Singh Bablu also joined the AAP.
