Noida airport, Ganga expressway, were the projects of BSP: Mayawati

Lucknow, Dec 18(UNI) Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati has claimed that all the development works being initiated during the Yogi Adityanath tenure in Uttar Pradesh were the brain child of her government during 2007-12 including the much publicized Noida international airport and the Ganga Expressway.

"The BJP as well as the previous Samajwadi Party governments had patted their backs for these projects but everyone should know that all the projects underway in the state were being initiated by the BSP. The development model mooted by the BSP were being accepted by the SP as well as BJP now ," she claimed in a series of tweets on Friday.
Ms Mayawati further said that these governments in UP have no idea of development and hence they are adopting the BSP's model which had played a major role in the development of the state after 2012.
However, the BSP president was critical on the Congress, alleging that if the Central government at that time did not create hurdle on the name of environment politics, then these projects would not have been delayed and the people of the state would have been enjoying these in the present day.
The former UP CM and BSP president made it clear that the Metro rail projects in different cities along with development of religious places of Ayodhya, Varanasi, Mathura, Kannauj along with others were also the plan of her government. " We have also given priority to the law and order during our regime, due to which the people of the state enjoyed a peaceful life," she said in the tweet in Hindi.
