Srinagar, Sep 30 (UNI) Cautioning Jammu and Kashmir Administration against opting for All India Quota (AIQ) for admission to Post Graduate (PG) courses, the National Conference (NC) on Thursday said this will expose J&K students to a greater disadvantage as compared to their counterparts from other states.
In a joint statement three NC Members of Parliament (MP) Dr Farooq Abdullah (Srinagar), Muhammad Akbar Lone(Baramulla) and Hassnain Masoodi (Anantnag) said this while taking note of the perceived hardship to the J&K students due to the pooling of 15 per cent of its MBBS seats in AIQ and 50 per cent seat sharing for PG Medical courses after NEET.
