Vantangiya community is "YO" gi every Diwali

Gorakhpur, Nov 11(UNI) Subjected to neglect for years, the ‘Vantangiya’ community, residing in the remote villages under dense ‘Kushmi Forest’, about 12 kilometers from Gorakhpur, found its friend and saviour in none other than Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Aditynath whose empathy for these few thousands led to end of struggle for their welfare during his days as Member of Parliament from Gorakhpur.
He first became the Gorakhpur MP for the first time in 1998. Yogi's emotional connect with this community could be gauged by the fact that he used to visit them every year on Diwali day and distributes sweets, books, stationery items, and other gifts to children and villagers.
This Diwali too will not be different and as the CM Yogi is scheduled to visit Vantagias on the morning of Diwali, officials here on Wednesday confirmed.
