Lucknow, Aug 31 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh governor Anandiben Patel, chief minister Yogi Adityanath along with several political leaders have expressed their grief over the demise of former President and Bharat Ratna awarded Pranab Mukherjee in New Delhi on Monday evening.

Governor Anandiben Patel, who is also in-charge of Madhya Pradesh, in her condolence message said Pranab Mukherjee was epitome of sincerity and had worked for the uplift of the poor section of the society. He had held many important posts in his political and administrative career and had left an indelible mark during his tenure, she said.
