Militant killed in Pulwama encounter

Srinagar, Apr 11 (UNI) Security forces shot dead a militant during an encounter in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Thursday.
“Body of one terrorist was retrieved, and identification was ascertained," Kashmir Zone Police said on X.
The encounter broke out when a joint team of police and security forces were conducting a search operation in Frassipora village of Pulwama early on Thursday.
“As the security forces reached a particular spot, the hiding militants opened fire and triggered an encounter during which an unidentified militant was killed,' they said.
Arms, ammunition, and incriminating material were recovered, police said, and a search was going on. Further details awaited, the police said.
