Nukkad Natak held at Lal Chowk to promote Voter participation

Srinagar, Apr 13 (UNI) A spirited Nukkad Natak performance was held at the historic clock tower commonly known as ‘Ghanta Ghar’ in Srinagagr's famed Lal Chowk on Saturday to promote voters' participation in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
District Election Officer (DEO) Srinagar, Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat, who is also the Returning Officer (RO) for Srinagar Parliamentary Constituency joined the vibrant “voter awareness programme” organised by District Election Authority at the Ghanta Ghar under Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP).
On the occasion, a group of local artists presented theme-based Nukkad Natak on SVEEP. While a large number of school students, youth and citizens participated in the Electoral Awareness programme, an official spokesman said.
