UP: 88% of industrial units start functioning under Unlock 4.0 guidelines

Lucknow Sep 8 (UNI)As the unlock 4.0 is being implemented the industrial activities in Uttar Pradesh are fast returning to the pre-lockdown level, with nearly 88 per cent of the industrial units already operational across the state.

Of the total 9, 30,348 industrial units, according to the database of the UP micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) department, more than 8, 18,000 units are now functional. More than 70 per cent or 5, 83,000 operational units are working at 80-100 per cent plant load factor (PLF), thus indicating a robust revival of their supply chains.
