Jaipur, Aug 21 (UNI) Rajasthan recorded 695 fresh COVID-19 cases and five more deaths in the past 24 hours, taking the case tally to 67,314 and death toll to 926, state health department said on Friday.
The active cases now stand at 14,961 while recovered at 51,427.
Among the fresh cases, maximum 173 were recorded in Sikar, followed by 96 in Bikaner, 87 in Nagaur, 75 in Jodhpur, 73 in Jhalawar, 65 in Jhunjhunu and 56 in Pali while 19 in Rajsamand.
Jodhpur remains the worst-infected with 9,897 cases, followed by Jaipur 8,215 and Alwar 6,522.
The first COVID-19 case and death in the desert state was recorded on March 2 and March 26 respectively.
