Corona captures 25 more lives with 3 deaths in Hoshiarpur dist

Hoshiarpur, Oct 4 (UNI) Hoshiarpur district reported three COVID-19 deaths and 25 new cases on Sunday taking the toll to 170 and infection count to 4715 of which 478 are active cases, said a spokesperson of the local Health Department in a statement here Sunday evening.
Among those who died of COVID-19 were all elderly.
The Health Department today received reports of 804 samples of which seven persons of Hoshiarpur and 18 from other health centres of the district were reported coronavirus positive. Samples of 1318 persons having symptoms of flu had been taken Sunday.
