Mukhtar died due to cardiac arrest, says autopsy report

Banda (UP), Mar 30 (UNI) The postmortem report of mafia-turned-politician and former MLA Mukhtar Ansari has claimed that he died due to shock along with myocardial infarction, official sources said here on Saturday.
Sources said that according to a postmortem report, shock has been stated as the immediate cause of death. "As per the report, shock took place due to myocardial infarction. The report confirmed that, as per the report, Mukhtar died around 9:50 p.m. on Thursday," they said.
Sources said that the report has ruled out the possibility of any conspiracy theory being alleged by Mukhtar's family. It may be noted that Mukhtar's son Umar alleged that his father was given slow poison, leading to his death.
It may be mentioned that Mukhtar (63), who was lodged in Banda jail, was taken to Rani Durgavati Medical College in Banda on Thursday night after his health deteriorated, where he died due to cardiac arrest during treatment.
Following allegations from family members, especially his son Umar, that Mukhtar was poisoned, a postmortem was conducted by a panel of five doctors, and the entire process was videographed.
Earlier, Mukhtar was laid to rest at his ancestral graveyard in Kali Bagh in the Yusufpur Mohammadabad area of Ghazipur district here in Uttar Pradesh on Saturday.
