War against COVID-19: MP’s body count rises to 3,090

Bhopal, Nov 15 (UNI) The fatality figure owing to the ‘millennium scourge’ mounted to 3,090 on Sunday in Madhya Pradesh where seven fresh demises were reported even as the infected tally touched 1,83,927 with 870 more sufferers being detected during analysis of 17,358 specimens.
A Health Services Directorate bulletin pegged the active cases at 9,146. Bhopal District had the dubious distinction of spawning the highest 237 new instances, Gwalior 78, Indore 76, Jabalpur 62, Sagar 34, Dhar and Ratlam 30 each, Vidisha 25, Shivpuri 18, Hoshangabad 17, Ujjain 13, Shahdol 12, Balaghat 11, Satna ten and Khargone one. An encouraging factor is that no fresh patient came to light in Chhindwara, Alirajpur, Dindori and Burhanpur.
