Bhopal, July 22 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan averred on Wednesday that – in view of COVID-19 infections spiralling within the state capital – a decision has been taken to impose a lockdown for a period of ten days.
“The restrictions shall be imposed at 2000 hrs on Friday and lifted at 0800 hrs on August 4. During the period in question; medicines, vegetables and milk will be supplied even as industries remain operational. I appeal to my sisters and brothers – whose healthy existence is my primary concern – for exercising all precautions to rein in the contagion,” the senior politician was officially quoted as saying while reviewing the situation via videoconferencing at Mantralaya.
