COVID lockdown adversely impacts mental health; people should stay occupied: Experts

Srinagar, May 7 (UNI) As people continued to remain confined to their houses in view of restrictions imposed to curtail the unabated rise in the number of COVID-19 cases and deaths, Psychiatric experts said that the there has been subsequent increase in the number of cases related to psychiatric diseases among people.

The psychiatrists believe that people staying at home for days together with COVID trauma and without keeping themselves busy can have repercussions on their mental health and developing mental health issues.
