nCon : Three more citizens died of Covid 19 in HP's Kangra Death toll reaches 1136

Dharamshala, Nov 6 (UNI) Three more people, two of them senior citizens, died in Kangra district on Saturday due to lethal novel Coronavirus taking death toll to 1,136 in this district.
The number of fresh positive cases was increasing on day to day basis and on Saturday 44 new COVID-19 cases, which included 26 male and 18 female were reported thus pushing the Kangra district case load to 51,094.

Houses for poor will be built in every city on the land freed from the mafia: Yogi

Lucknow, Jan 20(UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday assured that houses will be constructed for the poor and dalits on the land freed from the mafia in every urban body of the state, adding that the work has already started in Prayagraj.
He also said that the Anti-Land Mafia Task Force of the Uttar Pradesh Government is active and action will be taken by marking such land under every urban body.

Digvijaya to stage dharna

Bhopal, Jan 20 (UNI) Rajya Sabha Member Digvijaya Singh announced on Thursday that he would stage a sit-in on Friday in front of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s residence to highlight the plight of submergence-affected people vis-a-vis the Tem and Suthaliya projects.
“I sought time for a discussion and was informed on Wednesday by the Chief Minister’s Office that a meeting has been scheduled at 1115 hrs on Friday. However, on this day I was told that the interaction stands cancelled owing to Mr Chouhan’s busy schedule. This is not proper,” the erstwhile chief minister conveyed via social media.

Triple murder shocks Auriyya in UP

Lucknow, Jan 20 (UNI) In a sensational triple murder in Auraiyya district, the manager of SGS Inter College of Bidhuna Kotwali area and his wife were found dead on Thursday morning.
They both were strangled to death with a muffler, police said.
