COVID-19: Record 1,881 fresh cases, 19 deaths in Haryana

Chandigarh, Sep 3 (UNI) Haryana on Thursday registered record 1,881 new cases of COVID-19 while nineteen more fatalities were recorded due to the virus, taking the state's cumulative number of cases to 70,099 and death toll to 740 informed the state health department.
According to the department's bulletin, the virus claimed three lives each in Karnal and Kurukshetra, two each in Gurugram, Ambala, Hisar, Jind and Yamunanagar and one life each in Faridabad, Panchkula and Sirsa districts today.
The Bulletin stated that out of the new cases 224 were reported from Gurugram district, 190 from Sonipat, 150 from Faridabad, 128 each from Panchkula and Panipat, 115 from Sirsa, 112 from Karnal, 111 from Hisar, 100 from Kurukshetra, 94 from Rewari, 92 each from Ambala and Yamunanagar, 61 from Mahendergarh, 60 from Jind, 50 from Fatehabad, 41 from Kaithal, 32 from Rohtak, 28 from Jhajjar, 26 from Bhiwani, 22 from Palwal, 15 from Nuh and 10 new cases from Charkhi Dadri district.
