Medical advice to patients for home isolation at Rs 2500 in Chhattisgarh

Raipur, Sep 5 (UNI) Asymptomatic or minimally symptomatic COVID-19 patients undergoing treatment in home isolation will be provided medical advice through video calls or tele-advice at Rs 2500 for ten days in Chhattisgarh.
In a meeting of health department, Raipur district administration and representatives of Indian Medical Association (IMA), Private medical practitioners have agreed to provide medical advice to patients living in home isolation at this rate. Health department officials said that number of COVID-19 infected patients was continuously rising in the state. The number of COVID-19 patients is likely to increase further in the near future.
Asymptomatic COVID-19 patients and those having mild symptoms of this disease in the state are willing to undergo treatment while being at home isolation. After discussion with health department at the meeting, the IMA representatives have agreed to provide medical advice through video call or tele-advice at Rs 2500 for ten days. They said that it would be compulsory for the doctors and patients to follow guidelines issued time to time over home isolation by ICMR and health and family welfare department of the state government.
