Two firemen injured in a fire incident in Srinagar

Srinagar, Mar 22 (UNI) At least two firemen sustained injuries during a firefighting operation in which three shops were gutted and property worth lakhs destroyed in the downtown area of Srinagar on Friday, officials said.
Fire and Emergency service officials said a fire broke out at 1.30 PM in a shop and engulfed nearby shops in the Bohri Kadal area of Srinagar causing extensive damage to the three Hosiery shops.
They said during the operation two firemen identified as Baldev Singh and Mudasir Ahmad sustained minor injuries and were hospitalized for treatment.
