Eid celebrated with gaiety across UP

Lucknow, Apr 11 (UNI) The festival of Eid-ul-Fitr was celebrated with full enthusiasm and gaiety in Uttar Pradesh on Thursday Saturday during which prayers were offered with full devotion at EIdgah and mosques across the state amid tight security arrangements.
People congratulated each other after namaz and a lot of enthusiasm was visible among children and youth during the festival. The Namaz of Eid-ul-Fitr was offered at 37,018 Eidgahs and mosques across the state during which people prayed for peace and prosperity of the country.
To ensure that the festival was celebrated peacefully with harmony 2,912 sensitive places and hot spots were identified in all the districts where police deployment was done under zonal and sectoral scheme.
