Akali Dal vote for BJP is a betrayal of Farmers

Chandigarh, Mar 4 (UNI) The Chandigarh Congress has condemned the action of the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) in supporting the Anti-Farmer Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) during the elections to the posts of Senior Deputy Mayor and Deputy Mayor here on Monday.
In an official statement issued by the party's spokesperson, Rajiv Sharma said that terming the SAD councilors vote in favor of the BJP, which is akin to stabbing the backs of the country's farmers and farm laborers, he stated that the Akali Dal appears to have become a tacit partner of the BJP in their sinister attempt to destroy the farming sector in the country to help the rich corporations.
Accusing the Akali Dal of writing a new chapter in political somersaulting in politics of the Union Territory, Mr. Sharma stated that initially the Akali Dal demanded the provision of Nota as They did not want to support the BJP, but were subesequently lured into supporting the BJP.

Jammu, April 27 (UNI) A day after 50 houses, power infrastructure, and road connectivity were damaged, the administration has established a 24x7 operational kitchen to support the families near the land sinking site at village Pernote in the Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir.
