INDI alliance another name for instability, uncertainty: PM Modi

INDI alliance another name for instability, uncertainty: PM Modi

Saharanpur (UP), Apr 6 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday attacked the opposition parties, especially Congress, and said that the INDI alliance has become another name for instability and uncertainty which is the reason the country is not taking any of its words seriously.
While addressing a rally in support of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), the Prime Minister said, "We want to make India a developed nation but the opponents are desperate to get power. This is the first election in the country where the opposition is not claiming victory."
He said, "Rather, the opposition is contesting the elections only so that BJP's seats can be reduced to less than 370 and NDA's to less than 400."
Modi said that while the Samajwadi Party (SP) is changing its candidates every hour, Congress is not getting any candidates at all. "Even on the seats which Congress considered its stronghold, it is not daring to field candidates. The situation is such that the person to whom it was given the ticket resigned the next day."
He said, "INDI alliance has become another name for instability and uncertainty. That's why the country is not taking any of its words seriously. The people of Uttar Pradesh are knowledgeable.
Without taking the names of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and SP Chief Akhilesh Yadav, the Prime Minister said, "You have seen a film of two boys in the past. Here, these people have re-released the film which had flopped last time."
It may be noted that in 2017 SP contested the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections in alliance with Congress.
Modi said, "Saharanpur is the land of Maa Shakumbahri Devi. Worshipping 'Shakti' in every corner of India is a part of our natural spiritual journey. We are a country that never stopped worshipping 'Shakti'. It is the misfortune of the country that the people of the INDI alliance are openly challenging that their fight is against 'Shakti. Probably they don't know what happened to those who tried to destroy Shakti, which is recorded in history and Puranas."
He said that Congress which had once fought for independence and the country's senior leaders were associated with it. "But today the entire country is saying with one voice that Congress which fought for independence had ended decades ago," he said.
The Prime Minister said that Congress is neither left with policies for the national interest nor a vision for nation-building. "The kind of manifesto Congress issued has proved that today's Congress is completely cut off from the hopes and aspirations of today's India," he said.
He said that the Congress manifesto reflects the same ideas that were those of the Muslim League at the time of independence. "Congress manifesto completely bears the imprint of Muslim League. The leftists dominated the remaining parts of this manifesto. Overall, Congress is not visible at all in this. Such a Congress cannot take India forward in the 21st century," he said.
Modi said that Congress which ruled the country for so many years believed in taking commission. "While This INDI alliance is for corruption, the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and the Modi government are here on a mission," he said.
He said, "In 2014 when I came for an election meeting in Saharanpur that time the country was passing through a phase of acute dismay and crisis. At that time I gave you the guarantee that I won't allow the country to bow down. I resolved that with your blessings I will change every situation. I will turn disappointment into hope and hope into trust. You left no stone unturned in your blessings and Modi left no stone unturned in his hard work."
The Prime Minister said that at that time India was number 11th economic power in the world. "In just 10 years Modi has made India the fifth largest economic power in the world. The then Congress government had created the image of India as a corrupt and weak country. Today the BJP government has made India's image as a strong and rapidly developing country," he said.
He said today is an auspicious day when BJP is celebrating its foundation day. "In a very few decades, a record number of countrymen have joined the BJP. The party has won the trust and the hearts of the people. The biggest reason for this is that BJP follows 'Rashtraneeti' instead of 'Rajniti'. For us, there is nothing bigger than the nation and national interest. It is not a slogan, but an article of faith for BJP," he said.
The Prime Minister said that poor welfare is not an election announcement but a mission for BJP. "Pucca houses to the poor, toilets, health insurance of Rs 5 lakh through Ayushman is a mission. It is the BJP which gave free ration to the poor and this facility will continue for the next five years," he said.
He said that the construction of the grand temple of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya was not an election announcement but BJP's mission. "This year on Ramnavmi, our Lord Shri Ram will give darshan not in a tent but in the grand temple. What a great pride this is for our generation," he said.
Modi said, "It has been our mission to abrogate Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir. This mission has also been completed. Now Modi is building a developed Jammu and Kashmir by collecting all the stones pelted by the stone pelters in Kashmir. The BJP government works without discrimination. Our thinking is that the government schemes should reach every class, every caste, and every person. True secularism and social justice is for the beneficiaries to get their rights."
He said that work was done in the interest of crores of Muslim sisters by ending the evil practice of triple talaq. "Any Muslim woman is someone's daughter and someone's sister. Even when parents send their daughter for marriage, there is a worry in their mind that the son-in-law might pronounce triple talaq and send her back. Therefore, by abolishing the tradition of Triple Talaq law, work has been done to save not only the Muslim woman but the entire family. This work has been done so big that Muslim daughters will continue to bless Modi for many centuries to come," he said.
Appreciating the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, the Prime Minister said that Yogi ji is not going to give even an iota of relaxation regarding law and order. "The BJP government has controlled the criminals and rioters which created an environment of security, but also created an atmosphere for investment," he said.
He said in the last 10 years the BJP government has done a lot of work for the betterment of the farmers. "This area is also known for its agricultural products. Our government has been working for the farmer brothers for 10 years. Our government is sensitive to the small needs of the farmers. Small farmers in the country are being helped through PM Kisan Nidhi. In Saharanpur alone, Rs 860 crore has been sent directly to the accounts of 3 lakh farmers," he said.
The Prime Minister said that the people have seen his work, whose every second is dedicated to the country. "This is 24X7 for 2047. Your dream is Modi's resolve," he said.
He said that a massive drive is being carried out against corruption in the country only for the better future of the people. "These corrupt people break the dreams of the poor, rob them of their rights. Imagine when your son or daughter is eligible for a job, but if the job is given to someone else, what will happen to the future of your son or daughter? Modi is facing so much abuse just to save the future of your sons and daughters. These corrupt people are united and threatening Modi. But our mission is clear, remove corruption, their mission is clear 'save the corrupt'. But, it is Modi who is not going to back down. This is Modi's guarantee that swift action will continue against corruption," he said.
Modi said today every child is appreciating what has happened in the last 10 years. "But according to the dream that Modi has in his mind, this work is still a trailer. There is still a lot to be done and the country still needs to be taken far ahead. The day is not far when India will become the third-largest economic superpower in the world. Modi needs blessings for such huge resolutions," he said.
