Punjab: Rupani, Jakhar meet dissident BJP leader Sampla

Hoshiarpur (Punjab), April 24 (UNI) BJP's Punjab affairs in-charge Vijay Rupani, along with state party chief Sunil Jakhar met dissident leader Vijay Sampla here on Wednesday after he expressed disappointment over being denied the party ticket for the Hoshiarpur Lok Sabha constituency.
Sampla, a former Union Minister, has been sulking ever since Anita Som Parkash, the wife of sitting MP and Union Minister Som Parkash, was named the party candidate for the constituency.
Following the meeting with Sampla, Rupani addressed the media, stating his tour of the state aims to energise the party workers for the upcoming LS Elections.
