SAD announces first list of  7 Candidates for  LS Election in Punjab

Chandigarh, Apr 13 (UNI) Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) President Sukhbir Singh Badal on Saturday announced the first list of seven candidates for the Lok Sabha election in Punjab.
Choosing the historic and pious occasion of ‘Khalsa Sirjana Divas’ as the most suited day to sound the poll bugle, Badal released the first list of 7 candidates who are senior SAD leaders.
Dr Daljit Singh Cheema has been fielded from Gurdaspur, Prof Prem Singh Chandumajra from Sri Anandpur Sahib, NK Sharma from Patiala, Anil Joshi from Sri Amritsar Sahib, Bikramjit Singh Khalsa from Sri Fatehgarh Sahib, Rajwinder Singh (Grandson of late Gurdev Singh Badal) from Faridkot, and Iqbal Singh Jhoonda from Sangrur.
