LS polls: Preparations complete for free & fair elections in MP

Bhopal, Apr 18 (UNI) Preparations for free and fair voting on six parliamentary seats in Madhya Pradesh's first phase of Lok Sabha elections have been completed, with over one crore and thirteen lakh voters set to cast their ballots on Friday.

Voting across thirteen thousand five hundred eighty-eight polling stations in the constituencies of Sidhi, Shahdol, Jabalpur, Mandla, Balaghat, and Chhindwara will commence amidst tight security arrangements starting at 7 a.m. Polling will continue until 6 pm, except in the Naxal-affected Balaghat constituency, where voting will conclude at 4 pm in three assembly segments: Baihar, Lanji, and Paraswada.
